The idea for this project is to show the dark knight's outfits throughout the era. Each movie shows different styles and personalities, as a batman fan it was fascinating to see how each of the costumes had evolved over time. This project is just focusing on the movies/TV series, I know there are countless outfits in movies, comics, cartoons, and that is going to take me a lot more time to illustrate, but it's definitely my next goal, as a continuation project to this one.
The colors choices for the background are to me the essential colors from those movies, I tend to avoid using pure black or anything that are super dark because I know the costumes will just blend right in, and it's going to be hard to see the shape clearly. It was a little hard since the first color that you'd associate with batman is black. Maybe not all the color choices are accurate because I wanted to choose a color scheme and stick to it, such as the gradients in the second image. The fourth one if you're counting from the left, it would be Batman forever. The main villain are the Riddler and Two-Face, that's why I chose green and a sort of a orange-ish red.
